The Naked Lady
"The Naked Lady" painting on the cover of Naked in Eden came about in a unique way. Several years ago my friend Linda Marie, an art therapist, wanted to test some new projects she was developing before she used them on her clients. I was one of her guinea pigs.
For one of the exercises Linda Marie instructed me to paint a picture of the most peaceful time of my life. She said I could paint anything I wanted, but I had to do it in three minutes.
She gave me a tiny brush, a little piece of kitchen sponge, a glass of water, a kid's watercolor set and a pad of paper, and then she timed me for three minutes.
I'd never done anything like this in my life, and was pleasantly surprised at the scene that revealed itself. I had painted my precious and unforgettable time in the Australian Rainforest. Thank you dear Linda Marie.
I believe we are all capable of far more than we often realize. I wish you a life lived creatively and spontaneously. The choice is yours!
Love,
Robin
