Hi Robin,
It’s good to be back here (after being gone on vacation).

My dream/goal is to write a book. I haven’t done this yet, although I’ve recently started working with a coach to help get me focused on this, which is very much an important thing for me, and yet one in which I am having difficulty starting. So, the more I say it and write it, the more real it’s becoming (although I still have to “do” it…). So, thank you Robin – for this. You’re helping to keep this in the forefront for me.

Very fun!! Thanks again Robin…

What a brilliant idea… ;o) I guess you made extra difficult for us to get the right answers. Well, I am breaking the rules, here my thoughts first.

My goals/dreams are: to visit Kenya and Tanzania, watching the big migration and see the Serengeti. I want to travel around the world and learn about other cultures and learn another language (I actually started to learn Italian already). I want to skydive (at least once ;o), I want to: visit Tibet, swim with the dolphins, meet my soul mate, travel Africa in a 4×4, learn how to paint, do voluntary work in an underdeveloped country, write a funny book, create my own website, touch an Elephant, study archeology and wildlife conservation, adopt a child and invent something useful. These are just a few things I can think of for now….

Have a super day, Robin. And don’t work too hard.
Love, Carol

I am a survivor of child abuse and my goal is to revisit my childhood with a therapist and begin the recovery process. I have chosen this goal because I believe I am held back from achieving my other goals and dreams in life simply because I have not dealt with the past in a way that leads to healing and forward momentum.

I had to pop in and say that I am sitting here with tears in my eyes and goose bumps on my arms. This is SUCH a profound honor for me to see your hearts yearning for and moving toward such life giving things. I’m crying because in sharing your heart’s dreams you instill the same hunger and beauty in me. What is in YOU inspires what is in ME. Thank you my dear friends for such a HUGE gift. I am truly honored.

hi

hope you take some time for yourself and not working to hard!!

my one dream i’m working towards, is to work for myself and have my own studio, and just do photography for a living, no other work, just photography. and my other dream was always to go USA, i’ve been to Taiwan (the east), been to London (the north), I live in SA (the south) just still want to go to the North :)

But, after my ‘road trip’ http://e-photo.co.za/blog/?p=337 I realized that I still have so many places to go to in my own beautiful country, so many places I haven’t even seen in my country. I’ve never even been to Cape Town, so my BiGGesT dream is to just travel for a few months, non-stop, exploring the beauty of my own country! and of cause take lots of photos of my trip!!

hope you doing good
keep well!

My one dream is a daily one and that is to touch someone’s heart and make them happy. If I can make somebody happy that is sad or unwell or even worried, then I have achieved my purpose.

PS. I have trekked the Daintree Forest in Queensland, Australia and fully recommend it to those who wish to immerse themselves completely in the beauty of mother nature.

A contest…cool. (I had a contest, but no one cared…oh well)…anyway…
My goal or dream is to be able to reach millions of people, through my videos, blog posts, self-help books, music, television show, public speaking, anyway possible, and share my livelife365 programs and successes: healthy living though better diet, nutrition, and fitness; personal development/motivation/inspiration; laughing, singing, living life every day in every way. My ultimate dream is to be able to do this as a full-time vocation, one that earns enough to be able to quit my “real” job.

That was fun…

peace,
mike

hi robin and all :)

i recently bought a guitar and have been getting reacquainted. it’s been some years since i played the guitar, so it’s been fun dusting off the cobwebs. i hope to be able to make some nice music before long. i’ve also been drawing as well. i love pencil drawing and i’ve been having fun doing some simple sketching. my hope is to become the best that i can be at both endeavors.

i hope you are having a relaxing weekend, robin.

My goal is to be a better writer and photographer. I want to bring people something that makes them happy and adds to their day. And, at the present time, most people are unaware I am trying to do this.

I know I am not going to win this prize but you are my friend so I already have won the prize :)

Hola querida Robin,

My goal is to live happy with my love, learn about nature and teach what I’ve learned to the next generation, and hopefully make a change on how we are treating this amazing planet. I’m working on the process of changing my life to make it happen, I will move to Cusco in a year and will learn in harmony with nature, I’ll learn about culture, history, arts, and will incorporate all that to help the people I get to meet understand the importance of taking care of this planet. I will work with children and teens that live under extreme poverty conditions to make them understand that they CAN achieve great things, and are not invisible, like some people pretend… I want to work with Andean communities to help them grow and develop based on their ancient knowledge, tradition and respect for earth… and many other dreams that I think are related to what I wrote before.
Muchos besos,
Mel

Hi Robin, great contest! thank you for the opportunity to share my dream :)

The dream that I’m working towards is to have a job where I can impact social policy so as to contribute to turning around injustice and marginalization in society. Needless to say this job will not be as a government employee, but I don’t see myself as a lobbyist either so I’m not quite sure what it is yet.

With love
Amanda

Hiya dearest Robin,

I have a dream. It is a very personal dream that I hold dear to me in the hope that one day it will come true… When I finally meet that special girl of my life (the one that I am still yet to find), and I decide that I want to spend the rest of my life with her, I will whisk her away to a log cabin deep in the Arctic Circle for a romantic weekend. One evening I will take her out on a sledge pulled by the finest Reindeer until we are deep in the wilderness. We will stop and sit on the white snow covered ground to watch the lights of the aurora borealis dance across the night sky. And whilst the girl of my dreams is looking up at the colours in the sky, I will take a diamond ring from my pocket, bend down on one knee, hold her hand and whisper those magical words…. “Will you marry me?”

Dearest Robin, that is my one and only dream. If ever you hear me announce that I am going on a trip to the Arctic Circle, it’ll be a sign (like in Frank Cappa’s “Its A Wonderful Life” with Jimmy Stewart, where the bell on the Christmas tree rings as a sign that the Angel, Clarence, has got finally got his wings).

Take care my friend xx

Hi my dear – I guess the dream that is foremost in my mind right now is to be a published author, and to make a substantial living as a writer. I want this so much, and I think it will help a lot of other things I’m dreaming of happen.

I have so many things I want to try and do! But for true dreams/goals, my main one is of course simple (though difficult): to raise happy, healthy children into happy, healthy, responsible adults who know how to appreciate life, beauty and nature. For something more selfish, I’d like to have a beautiful farm where I can grow a garden and raise goats. (Can’t seem to get away from kids, can I?) ;) I also dream of picking up oil painting again, and of making a living through selling my creative work – whether it be paintings, photographs, writing or crafting.

Hmm, I need to start moving toward those goals, don’t I?

I’ve ‘dreamt’ of monetizing my daily photoblog/….and amazingly a system has arrived that requires just a simple html install to my photoblog with no upfront costs. I’ve just been invited to be a ‘beta’ tester of this product and it eliminates the largest obstacle of my dream coming true.

That of uploading several hundred LARGE’ files to a net gallery with a shopping function. This is an upload upon request for print system and ordering is done right off of my website.

Now I can work on my ultimate dream with all the free time that this will create, which is a self-published ‘coffee table’ hardbound book of the photography displayed at http://www.thecliffwalk.com.

Oh my goodness would not these dreams make a great coffee table book? My dream is a simple one. I hope that I can care for my sister with Parkinsons Disease as brilliantly as I can and help her achieve some of the dreams she has before her physical condition prevents her from doing many of them. She is young to get this condition and this is her second serious illness. Many people in the world need a hand up not a hand out and I hope that if we all helped one person whether it be family, friend or stranger wouldn’t the world be a kinder, more wonderful place.

And I had to leave this comment for Graham – whoever the love of your life is, and she will be out there somewhere, she is going to be a lucky woman. How sweet is that dream? All of them are in fact!

Are we meant to guess the three things, animal, flora, mineral – dont have a clue to be honest but dreaming was fun! Hope you are well my fried. I have been a little preoccupied of late, you know how it is. Take Care!!! Hope that book is nearing a publish date.

Well aside from the contest I am soooo happy to share with you my dream(s)….It is now 2 months until I free myself from the ties of a formal job :) ))) And as I gather more of my thoughts throughout the summer months I am starting my dream of writing a book this September – the excitement within me is overflowing with sooo much great stuff! And by the way it is my first book of many that I have ideas for. This first one will be about natural health and the future ones will be more about our existence and the changes on the Earth from a spiritual point of view!

To borrow ideas from Zen perspective, one series of goals includes; learning to hear sound and then become deaf, to open the mouth and become mute and when seeing, to become selectively blind. The point is to move beyond noise and to remember the vibration of universal sound.

It’s hard to think of any dreams/goals as I don’t need to be or do anything special to feel happy or complete. Maybe I could concentrate on more on kindness.

Tami Says:

Regarding dreams or goals, none in particular, as I’m grateful each morning to have another day with my loving family and with mother earth. So, mine is more a gratitude thing. I’m working on being more organized, but that is more of a brain wiring thing I’m convinced.

Hi Robin :) How are you?
I tried to think of a goal or dream but right now I have just lived one so would feel almost ungrateful coming up with another already!
It seems like forever that I have wanted to go and see a coral reef with marine fishes…… it was by far out of my reach for many years because I had other commitments and lack of finance. But, I have just got back, I am still blown away by the experience :) it was mega! I cannot stop grinning just thinking about it…
I was also very touched by some of the people I met bearing in mind that the area I went to was badly hit by the tsunami, when the people shook my hand and thanked me for the British red cross contributions towards their water it was humbling and made me realise how easy it is to take things for granted…..
Much love to you, I hope you are not working too hard
Hugs
Chrissy
