Do you know this?

KALEIDOSCOPE EYES: The way I see the world.

I am not even close to being an expert on the topic of quantum physics, but according to most quantum physicists all matter is made of atoms. This includes houses, cars, humans, animals, rocks, trees, cash and so forth. And atoms are comprised of subatomic particles: quarks, bosons, leptons and down to particles so small that we can’t see them and will never be able to see them. These minute particles are made up of fluctuations of information and energy in an immense void filled with information and energy. Most quantum field theorists agree that the material world is non-material.

So in light of that an atom is not a concrete or solid thing. It is a hierarchy of information and energy in an endless void of information and energy. The “material” of the universe in non-material. Many theorists also believe, it is thinking non-material, because thoughts are impulses of information and energy.

Another interesting thing to ponder is this: when physicists look far beyond subatomic particles into subatomic clouds, these particles have never been seen. So how do they know they exist? The particles leave light trails behind in particle accelerators (or atom smashers). The people who do subatomic research have seen and even photographed the trails left by these “non-particles”. But the really mind-blowing thing is the light trails ONLY come into existence when attention is focused on them. So if a physicist is looking at a quantum field, every time he/she looks at the field these particles wink into existence. They exist only when we focus our attention on the field. When no attention is focused they vanish into a void and become merely a probability amplitude (a wave) in the great ocean of all possibilities. Probability amplitude is a wave spread over space and time and not limited to any specific location in space and time. A wave is a dispersed thing.

Simplified: everything is non-material energy and information and is brought into existence when we focus on it. In light of that it would pay to seriously consider what we focus on. The world (or void in which we live) is full of possibilities and potentialities. Just as my slide show reflects; it all depends on how we choose to see the world. Do we merely use our eyes to “look” or do we really SEE? And do we actively choose what we focus on? Or do we move through life responding without thinking, responding from a programmed or conditioned state? I see the world around me like these kaleidoscope images in my slide show. I don’t see just a tree, I see the tree as if it were viewed through a kaleidoscope. I see people in the same way; not as definitive beings, but forever changing energy patterns, colors, music, emotions, realities, forever changing information and energy. When I feel the stars in a midnight black sky I hear an entire symphony.

We are not static beings. We are mutable and can change form, shape, thoughts and energies purely by realizing that we are non-material beings. How much have we accepted as truth when in fact we might be living in a fish bowl that has a whole HUGE sea just on the other side of the glass. With a shift in perception we can jump from the tiny bowl and explore an entire ocean. How much joy, laughter, tears, love, ecstasy are we actively choosing to create? How much do we over look? It’s all out there; we need only focus on it to have it blink into existence.

You are beautiful.
Love,
Robin

Oh my goodness Robin your right where I have been with the books I’m reading. Their all pointing out how it’s the space in between the matter that really makes a huge difference. How our thoughts really can change our brain and thus change our life. Thus what we think about and focus on manifests in our life. So let’s all just think about love and create love!

Robin replies
Dear Tara, This is very exciting that we are reading the same thing. And it’s an exciting read indeed! “And yes! It’s the space between the matter that “matters”. :) Once fully grasped and more importantly FELT, it changes one’s whole experience of living, of BEING. Not only do we have enormous potential individually but imagine what we can do collectively with conscious, healing, loving and joyous intent. Thank you so much my friend. It’s thrilling.

Whew! I barely made it through science so I’m just going to say that was a really awesome video. I found myself trying to figure out what the pictures were originally. You’ll be happy to know I jumped again. When I get older I’m going to have to stay away from computers. :)

Robin replies
Dear Shirley, you know I was the same with science when I was in school, but now at an older age, I find that love so many aspects of it. I’m really glad you enjoyed the video and was pleased you were trying work out what the photos originally were. The best way to view these creations of mine is in a HUGE format, like 3′ X 4′ or even 2′ X 3′ where you can see every blade of grass and even little birds and other creatures (who shall remain) nameless. LOL!! It’s a bit like those games they do for kids where you see how many things you can find hidden in the picture. I will eventually do a gallery showing of them in a very large format. The video doesn’t even begin to do them justice, but I am so touched that you enjoyed it regardless.

Great post but some of the “science” is badly fractured…

I don’t mean *you* are fractured, my dear, just the “science”…

Dear Alex, always good to see you here. I beamed over your little burst of enthusiasm for the video. I had so much fun doing it. I didn’t want to stop. It was like I finally got to share how I see the world around me. It was just thrilling for me. As to science being fractured, I almost think that is simply the current nature of science. Well, at least the way that most scientists are taught to approach learning, investigation, research and so forth. Fact, fact fact: do not let any emotion or spirit enter into it or it is not true science, blah, blah, blah, and so on. I do believe with time, maybe not in my lifetime, but with time it will change. And we will return to a more holistic approach to science. Actually, as I think about it, in some arenas it already is changing.

Robin. It’s even sweeter than that. At the smallest guess we now have strings which vibrate infinitely fast over no distance at all. Everything, everything is music. We can never die. Our bits just go to join a different riff in the grand melody. The song remains the same. :)

Robin replies
Oh my old friend, it is so heartwarming to see you here again. And you bring SUCH sweet words. I love them and relate deeply to them from my own experience of life. After years in the rainforest living far away from society and only with the wild things, I would walk into the rainforest and stand amongst the trees and literally hear music EVERYWHERE I went. I was surrounded by constant symphonies of the most glorious music I’d ever heard. A year before I left the rainforest for the last time, I started to dream music night after night. I LIVED in a world of music. I had no training in music and could not read or write it and did not play it, but when I came out of the rainforest I sat at a piano and played like someone with years of training. I was performing withing months. I still dream music and I still hear the Universe as music, the trees, the rocks, humanity, all of it as music. Thank you for being who you are.

Robin – you post makes me wonder if you have heard about the neuroscientist Jill Bolte Taylor and her experience of stroke. When her left brain stared to hemorrhage, she was left with a whole other perception of herself formed by her right brain. Unable to perceive her body in the sense of form as we think of it, she felt expansive and connected. I am adding a link that you can post or not, but I was just so amazed by what she had to say: http://www.ted.com/index.php/talks/jill_bolte_taylor_s_powerful_stroke_of_insight.html

Robin replies
Dear Michelle, This is so amazing that you mention her. Thank you for sharing it here along with link. I really appreciate it so much. I saw a video of a talk she gave and I wept because when she told how she experienced the world in this expansive state I felt that she was talking about my life. It wasn’t always that way for me, or lets say, I wasn’t always aware of it, not until I lived in the wild. I write a little about it in my first book that I just finished. Here is a teeny excerpt:

(Excerpt from Naked in Eden © Robin Easton)
“My soul became so huge and infinite that I lost myself into the life around me. No longer separate, I drifted in all directions into the forest. I merged with giant trees, ancient rocks, birds, frogs, wallabies and stars. The fingers of my soul reached into the infinite universe and touched the face of God.

How can I be so many places at once and feel more whole than I’ve ever felt in my life? I could be lost in such beauty forever . . . and never wish to be found.

“Something changed in me that day. I grew so far beyond myself, I didn’t know if I’d ever be able to get back inside the confines of my body. Or if I even wanted to. Naked and alone in the dark rainforest I felt safer and more myself than ever before. I wanted to lay my body upon the rainforest floor and sob until I dissolved into soft earth. The ancient life around me actually knew how to love, and was loving me as I sat on my rock and cried.”

Hi Robin,

“The world is a living kaleidoscope” (that’s a hard word to spell!!!) – what a beautiful way to view our world! And what’s out beyond what we know of today – it is so limiting to believe that what we know about today is all that there is. Oh, to think grand! And what might be! I’m all for being a dreamer, and a believer in the enormity of the unknown. I think we overlook much – I think I overlook much. Being here, Robin, always reminds me of the many emotions that we have and experience. You have a magical way of bringing those out, in your words – and in your readers words. It is a privilege to be here – and to feel the connection that comes – to you, to your other readers, to our world…

Robin replies
Dear Lance, “hi” my friend. You always instill me to greater insight. As I was reading this. I thought, yes, the more we liberate ourselves from preconceived notions and conditioned ways of thinking and being, the more free we become…vast and timeless. And not only more vast but our perception is multifaceted. It really is like looking at the world through a forever turning Kaleidoscope full of infinite possibilities. —Also, Lance, thank you for reflecting back to me, myself. I like to claim these reflections whether they come from a friend, such as yourself, or a tree, a sunset, a hawk in flight, a new born baby, or the compassion I feel for humanity, which is really compassion for myself as well, if I claim it. And Lance, it is a privilege to have YOU here my life-filled friend.

When I studied metaphysics my professor had the curious theory that much of philosophy is based on our internal struggle as a species. On one hand we are nomadic at heart, and yet we live pretty sedentary lives. We traded freedom for security, but yet that full security never comes.

Robin replies
Dear Miguel de luis, welcome to my humble abode! This is a remarkable comment and something I too have thought about. I have written a bit about this very topic and find it fascinating. So I am delighted that you shared this here. I believe many of our nomadic ways are still imprinted on our DNA and can manifest in ways that we don’t fully understand. An example might be my societies need to go to the mall and shop (even excessively, even for things they might not really need). The hope of finding “something” there often motivating them. At one point in my life I I lived off the land and would go into the mountains to collect wild edible plants to eat (something our hunter gatherer ancestors did). When I did it I would always have this feeling of excitement that I was going to “find” something or “get” something that would fulfill me. Which it did on many levels, but there was an excitement just in the going out and searching for food. The search alone filled some basic sense of curiosity and excitement in me. A very interesting topic, for sure. Thank you for sharing.

Ah, kaleidoscopes. I love them! …and I’ve had one on my desk for years. ;) Fascinating, how the images and colors flow into new art… And it’s only recently, within the year, that I’ve come to realize I do this, too. And that I have the POWER to do this any time I want! Funny, it seems this past week I’ve had plenty of opportunity to practice shifting from stagnant to active, from quiet to peppy, from irritated to understanding, from frustrated with myself to encouraging… shifting shifting shifting. :) I love it. And now, my perfectly wonderfully tuned-in friend, now I can have the wonderful visual of being my own kaleidoscope! It’ll make the shifting that much more fun and enjoyable—and maybe even a bit easier! [laughing at self]
PS: Normally I’m with brainteaser on the technical, but today it landed well. Thanks for the info!

Robin replies
Dear Julie, It’s such a powerful time of life when we realize we can actively choose to be part of Life, to BE Life. We are no longer in “waiting mode”, waiting for life to happen, waiting for joy to arrive, waiting for sadness to leave so we can be happy again, waiting, waiting, waiting. Not only can we — as Brainteaser says — still feel joy even if we are in grief, but we can “actively” reach out and grab the joy we are surrounded with, the joy that is just sitting there ready for us to embrace it. I can definitely see you living life and seeing life as a kaleidoscope. I’ve seen that aspect of you in many of your posts, in your emotions, in your continual wonder over simply being alive. It is what makes you so electric and charged with life. —I too am normally with Brainteaser on the technical stuff but this last year I am absorbing things that I never could before. Robin, next to nature, you have touched here on my second favorite topic I think, (well perhaps third, nature, holistic health and quantum physics)!

I am a science teacher at the core, so I learned the basics of this a long time ago, but as I teach my students and have since done a bunch of research on this myself I was blown away by what we don’t teach and by how much potential there really lies for our human and physical existence.

Based on these theories, I do believe we create our own realities, I know the observer changes what they see, and hence we can all be looking at the same thing and see something completely different. This is also why we take situations and emotions so differently.

The video you added to this is superb!

If you have not seen it, I highly recommend the movie “What the Bleep do we Know – Down the Rabbit Hole” this is a longer and extended version of the original and it is phenomenal at explaining in very simple terms what we consider and call reality. It has tons of researchers and scientists on it and is presented in a fun and entertaining way and boy will it ever make your head spin!

So yes I choose to create thought forms and energy forms that rise out of and are based on love and compassion and will vitally merge with others to create more of the same. (I will stop myself here, but oooo what a great topic!!!)

Robin replies
Dear Evita, I have sensed your connection to this type of thinking/awareness. It shines through in how you face the world, how you deal with others and the vitality you spread everywhere you go. I didn’t known that you studied this. I find that amazing. I am fascinated by it but most of my learning and, even more importantly, deep understanding has come from my own life experiences and relationship with the universe. But I recently have casually read more about it, which has been fun as it put into words things I feel.—I am so pleased you liked the video; I love you word “superb”. I find it juicy and a great honor. :) —I’ve not seen the movie you mention but have heard a lot of good things about it and maybe seen a short clip somewhere. But I can definitely see why this type of expanded thinking and feeling is such a part of your life. It’s who you are my dear Evita!! And you are a soul who truly lives it, shares it and thrives in it. That makes me happy. :)

Quite informative, but too complicated for me. :) Although I came to realize and believe that everything is energy including our thoughts, and I guess the part of ‘what you visualize, you materialize’ holds true to that.

Love your video, and so strange to see more than what you actually photographed. It’s almost like mandalas which you can use to meditate with. Brings about a thought of peace within me.. Awesome!! Thanks!!!!

Robin replies
Dear Gene, I like what you said here about mandalas and meditation. I had thought the same thing when making these. When I was a small child (and even today). I would lay in bed and look at patterns on the ceiling or ice crystals on the window a form of meditation (I didn’t have the word “meditation” but I knew it altered my state of being). I found it very soothing and would often do it just before going to sleep or just after waking. It completely emptied my mind of thought and left me calm. I knew this even as a child. Patterns are very intriguing for me. These images here were not made with a fractal program. Each one is the same photo simply rotated and/or turned upside down. When I am out hiking I see nature in this way ALL the time. I look at tree and even though the roots are not technically visible to most people, I see the both the trees branches above ground and the trees branches (roots) below ground — tying heaven and earth together. It is a mind blowing experience to look at a whole forest that way. I see the curve of the earth even when there is no curve, and often see the earth, looking down from the sky. It is what compels me to take photos at odd angles and then to create these kaleidoscope images. Doing so allows me to share with others how I see the world. And yes, my dear friend, you are right. It is Awesome. And thank YOU!

[Reply]

eddie Says:

12 March 2009 at 10:31 pm.

If a tree falls in the forest does anybody hear? (Thank you Bruce Cockburn). Robin, my lay understanding is that if an atom wiggles, somewhere nearby another wiggles in response in some other place in the universe. Every atom is connected to the one next door and so on. Therefore you and I and all that ‘is’ are one contiguous collection of clattering, clanking, colliginous matter. Would not we then surmise that any thought or action repercusses throughout all that is? Thoughts and actions ‘matter’ as you have so nicely pointed out.

Fractals are an interesting study in the relationship of the whole to the part and vice versa.

So I offer this in keeping with your creative video:

enjoy…

Dear eddie, Boy you took one tiny paragraph to say what took me a whole page. I should have just called you and said: Tell me about quantum physics!! LOL! I’m impressed. Seriously. I LOVE the image you have created here and felt the impact of it in my whole being. WOW!! When you describe it and then ask:

“Would not we then surmise that any thought or action repurcusses throughout all that is?”

Yes, my friend, we would. Or at least I sure would. I DO! :) That is a powerful question. It immediately raises our awareness of who and what we really are. And our influence on the entire universe or all that is. Thank you dear eddie; I so appreciate it. I am just now going to visit the link you shared here.

Wow!..lets just say to start out that this is a very interesting subject you talk about here and a good research done….I agree that science is making progress and informs …I have an interest in quantum physic and and …getting to understand the possible programmings………
all is energy……
…I have learned from books, they were a good pointers sometimes…..but learned more from life itself ..it is a big school….words are a nice invention but can’t totally express all (thoughts, feelings, emotions, experiences) besides when you are living something that’s incredible, are there any words..well maybe ..(wow!) ..all is energy yes! and its vast…

(1)watching snow flakes falling…but as you watch, there a shift in your mind and you see millions of small rays of light coming down. (he’s done..omg!)

(2)the flight of a bird..you see it, you then see it more..you feel it..you feel the flight..are part of it. (ok.. now he is real done in)

(3)watching the skys..the stars ..becoming that vastness that space.. (ok..call the nut house he’s off his rocker)…..hahaha..
(3b)seriously, all this is possible, not all day long..you got to take time to laugh, it helps the blending in…..of joy

(4) I met a wise man once and he said that all the universe was inside us.
(4b) we are all wise men and women…..we just don’t always realize it.

a kaleidoscope vision….
your video has that particularity of showing that almost invisible reality that we all experience…at certain times…sometimes its clear, sometimes it fuzzy…

(5)when one walks the walk of life…some grand things can happen even if suffering was involve in the process…veils are lifted and you can See and Experience many things you had not even suspected …or thought of…..or maybe now you are ready for it….you are always respected…somehow!.

(6) love..many use the word….that’s cool……yet, its even in a blade of grass…or drop of water….you know it ..you sense it, you feel it…would energy, atoms, etc …be love…(ah ha)

(7)we use words sometimes to give sense to content..its keeps us sane, balanced, grounded..informed, and that’s perfect …but in the end we are all things..that’s Big……..all energy…..as for creating our reality..well its probably all true but we don’t always take note of it…having to much fun with life…

Hey!..you got me going there…Peace

Robin replies
Wow! I am SO glad I got you going here. This is a remarkable comment, so heartfelt and wise. I am just basking in all the beauty and truth of it. There is so much I could respond to here but I am going to pick two things that really hit home for me. One is when you say:

“books, they were a good pointers sometimes…..but learned more from life itself ..it is a big school…words are a nice invention but can’t totally express all (thoughts, feelings, emotions, experiences) besides when you are living something that’s incredible, are there any words”

My friend, you would not believe how strongly I relate to this. I went years and consciously chose to give up books to become a student of Life. I wanted an intimate relationship with Life, not a conditioned one or one from books or teachers or religion and so forth. I wanted nothing between me and my conversation with Earth, my love affair with the Stars, the Universe. I went naked into the world to experience life firsthand. Hence my title: “Naked in Eden”. I still read very little today as I have grown intensely fond of communicating directly with life. I realize that it is not everyone’s path and I respect that, but it is my path. I love EXPERIENCING Life far more than I do reading about Life.

The other thing that you say so lovingly and wisely here is more profound that most people realize, and it is a topic that I just started writing about the other day for a future blog post. You wrote:
“…we are all wise men and women…..we just don’t always realize it.”

This again is more powerful that most of us realize. Many people look for truth and answers outside themselves and in others or in gurus, teachers and religion and, yes, even endless books. But I believe if we can allow ourselves to be “naked” to the world, the Universe, naked of mind, spirit and soul, we will learn more wonders than we ever imagined possible. We will then know our own truth, our own unique path and purpose. We will indeed know Life.

You are indeed a wise man who speaks simple truth, and all great truths are simple. That is why they are so often over looked. Thank you for taking the time to share your soul here. It spoke directly to my heart. And yes, Love is definitely in a single blade of grass, a single drop of water, a single cell. Love IS.

Robin, I love your kaleidoscope, as for the topic of quantum physics. “We know from our experiments that the most interesting places to search for “the truth” are not in the well-trodden paths, but rather in those places where our current understanding appears to be breaking down. These places are even more appropriate if we are looking for irregularities in the structure of our Universe, as regions where things seem to be going “wrong” could be indications of sloppy programming, or perhaps the computational limitations of the hardware creating our World”. Do we live in a Matrix Universe?
http://www.newforestobservatory.com/2007/10/20/do-we-live-in-a-matrix-universe/

Robin replies
Dear Walter, you amaze me. You are fountain of knowledge. I was just skimming the article you sent here and I am sure there are many Matrix fans who will relate to this article. It raises some interesting questions. This whole topic is so juicy because it hits into the vast “unknown”, which I think fascinates most people in some way or another. I love the mystery of Life and hope that there are always mysteries; they make us dream and often rise to greatness within ourselves. We expand in the presence of “the great mystery”, just as we do standing in a field at night looking at heaven full of stars. Thank you my friend.

Yes, the way you take photos always fascinated me! All your angles and curves you take to get the right one! That is something I’m working on now as well, that and also to see more of things, and not just to look.. I took some photos last weekend of some seeds and a tree stump, dunno if you saw them on my blog, but must say I had so much fun taking different photos of the same subject, over 300 photos :) crazy I know, but I had so much fun, and to get back to your previous blog, that was pure joy for me, I got lost in time, and if it didn’t get dark, I would still be out there taking photos of those seeds!! :)

Dear HE who is not a SHE!! :) So exciting this comment. I am also floored by your appreciation of my photos and angles, etc. because you are a MASTER photographer. You not only “see” the world around you in amazing detail, but you take photos that tell a story. I like that. —Then I chuckled over the 300 photos and didn’t even flinch at the number! LOL! Becaaaaause, I take that many and more. And no it is not crazy at all. I agree, as you say, that it is another form of meditation. We see something that intrigues us and we become absorbed in “seeing” it from every angle and perspective and it’s a bit like your mandalas. We lose ourselves so into the moment of the tiger or flower that all thoughts vanish as we become only the moment. It is a wonderful state of bliss and relaxation. I know exactly how you feel. I really enjoyed this comment “HE” LOL!!!

Robin, sometimes human beings get wrapped up with naming things and describing phenomena that are not appropriately framed in human terms. As starflight comments, “life is a school.” A person can shift vantage points, alter focus of perception, and choose to sense what did not appear there before. And yet, nothing has moved in ways humans typically understand. Rather perception can be consciously or unconsciously shifted. The energy vibrations you choose to register changes according to your free will. Whenever you open yourself, you realize you connect to everything, everywhere. It is not simply observation which allows you to witness and experience nature and events unfolding around you. Your soul is fundamentally part of it. This is the oneness that brings you back to reconnect with the core of your inner being. Its the truth.

Dear Liara, I resonate deeply with these lines of yours: “Whenever you open yourself, you realize you connect to everything, everywhere. It is not simply observation which allows you to witness and experience nature and events unfolding around you. Your soul is fundamentally part of it.”

This is absolutely true. I guess I would say that we are not just part of it; we ARE it. And not simply at our core but in our entirety always and forever. And I speak only my truth here. (I try not to tell others definitive truth because I limit myself and them when I do, because I have experienced truth as limitless and forever evolving, as is all of existence.) But as I was going to say, my experience has been that when we merge with all existence around us we simple merge. There is no connecting back to anything. We BECOME everything. We are all capable of living in this way. We already are. —As I’ve grown older, I have come to embrace that people “open” themselves in different ways. We all are possibly walking in the same direction but we may take different paths to our on going destination. I personally tend to live my life wide open. It was a conscious choice I made many many years ago, and one I made so deeply that at this point in my life it is simply who I am. It is no longer a choice I have to consciously make. I also tend to be a very visceral person or a touchy-feely person who approaches things from my heart, intuitively, effortlessly through all of my senses and full body/spirit/soul awareness, BUT that said, I have embraced that not everyone approaches their path the way I do. I have seen those we were very left brained and approached “opening” or oneness through math, reading, writing, science, etc. I once knew someone who was a brilliant mathematician. This person appeared to most people as very dry, technical, socially inept and unaware of the world around them, BUT in front of a chalkboard with a piece of chalk explaining Einstein’s theories and in depth mathematical equations they transformed into a highly spiritual being, an exquisitely beautiful glowing being, one who touched the face of the Universe/their god through math.

I wish you could lend me your eyes to see what you see Robin.
The very secret of universe… everything is truly connected.
But maybe some people need a bigger size of fish bowl right? With an immense sea around us we might get lost and feel paralyzed for the sudden infinite possibilities that it can offer to us.

Now I realized I missed coming by your wonderful site.Thank you for sharing Robin!

Robin replies

Dear Argos, I am touched and honored by these words from your heart. They are both wise and honest. First, you have amazing eyes of your own that see the world around you in a most beautiful and very unique way. I know this from visiting your site. —Also, yes, some people might need to at first jump into a slightly bigger bowl and then their next jump into an even bigger bowl, and each jump they move closer and closer to the big sea full of infinite possibilities. At the time that I jumped from my little fish bowl directly into the infinite sea, I was dying. Sometimes when we are close to death there is a lot of incentive to reach out for as much Life as possible. When one is close to death they often have nothing left to lose. I do not regret my grand leap of faith. I left death behind in the little fish bowl and became more Life than I ever imagined. Thank you my kind friend for sharing here and taking me back to a special time of my life. A time that made me who I am today.

Dear Walter, I think I was in the wilds when you posted this. It’s wild and thought provoking post. It would make a great live discussion in a group. A lot of work went into this post. I left a comment on your site. And again, thanks for giving me the link right here. :)

Kia ora Robin,
Wow! Some of these comments make me feel like I did as a kid in science class sitting in the back hoping I would not get called on! But I guess we are all entitled to have a go.
I have just returned from a quick one night trip to the Ruahines – just felt a need to Centre myself before a very busy few weeks, and then a 4 night trip awaits. I pitched my tent on the high part of the forest where it meets the open tops and I just sat and swayed with the breeze and felt part of Everything. Once again I could hear your Laughter. I returned today and decided to trim a tree that has grown over the garage and starting to rub hard against it. I climbed on the roof with my saw, above the Kowhai tree and the Feijoa tree with its lovely fragnant smell and soon to bear its beautiful fruit for us to eat, and as I was about to saw the branch the swaying overcame me again here in the city! I sat up there amongst the trees, listening to the sounds of the branches, of the Tui’s song, and finally I climbed back down the ladder leaving the tree as it was. I couldn’t do it today.
I know this has little to do with your post but it was on my mind, and I am smiling.
Aroha,
Robb

Hey, you know what I think about why the light trails do not come into existence when attention is focused on them? I think this may be because everything is connected; essentially, we are the light trails and their existence does not “materialize” until our motion (which could be a choice, a decision, a thought, etc.) manifests itself. In other words, the light trails could be the effects of a choice, and the effects of a specific choice cannot Be until after the choice has been made. Prior to the making of the choice, all possibilities are infinitely in a potential state of existence, simultaneously and equally unknown. Once the choice is made the “light trails” (or the effects of that choice) coalesce and begin to take form…until the next choice. :-)

This is one of my favorite posts of yours, Robin! :-)

Hello Robin,
The video is great– i had an experience a few years back where there was this conscious tussle between the right brain and the left brain–at times it felt like i was on this knife edge of existence.
As the intensity grew it reached a point where my creativity was spurted to such an extent that there was not moment without total frenetic activity.
Then the bubble burst and i felt the feeling of total harmony, peacefullness, joyousness and connectedness.
There were many realisations, but one of them was the perception change and the mind set that went with it.
Thank you always
Namaste friend
The light emanates outwardly always
