Hello Robin,
The video is great-- i had an experience a few years back where there was this conscious tussle between the right brain and the left brain--at times it felt like i was on this knife edge of existence.
As the intensity grew it reached a point where my creativity was spurted to such an extent that there was not moment without total frenetic activity.
Then the bubble burst and i felt the feeling of total harmony, peacefullness, joyousness and connectedness.
There were many realisations, but one of them was the perception change and the mind set that went with it.
Thank you always
Namaste friend
The light emanates outwardly always

Hey, you know what I think about why the light trails do not come into existence when attention is focused on them? I think this may be because everything is connected; essentially, we are the light trails and their existence does not "materialize" until our motion (which could be a choice, a decision, a thought, etc.) manifests itself. In other words, the light trails could be the effects of a choice, and the effects of a specific choice cannot Be until after the choice has been made. Prior to the making of the choice, all possibilities are infinitely in a potential state of existence, simultaneously and equally unknown. Once the choice is made the "light trails" (or the effects of that choice) coalesce and begin to take form...until the next choice. :-)

This is one of my favorite posts of yours, Robin! :-)

Kia ora Robin,
Wow! Some of these comments make me feel like I did as a kid in science class sitting in the back hoping I would not get called on! But I guess we are all entitled to have a go.
I have just returned from a quick one night trip to the Ruahines - just felt a need to Centre myself before a very busy few weeks, and then a 4 night trip awaits. I pitched my tent on the high part of the forest where it meets the open tops and I just sat and swayed with the breeze and felt part of Everything. Once again I could hear your Laughter. I returned today and decided to trim a tree that has grown over the garage and starting to rub hard against it. I climbed on the roof with my saw, above the Kowhai tree and the Feijoa tree with its lovely fragnant smell and soon to bear its beautiful fruit for us to eat, and as I was about to saw the branch the swaying overcame me again here in the city! I sat up there amongst the trees, listening to the sounds of the branches, of the Tui's song, and finally I climbed back down the ladder leaving the tree as it was. I couldn't do it today.
I know this has little to do with your post but it was on my mind, and I am smiling.
Aroha,
Robb

I wish you could lend me your eyes to see what you see Robin.
The very secret of universe... everything is truly connected.
But maybe some people need a bigger size of fish bowl right? With an immense sea around us we might get lost and feel paralyzed for the sudden infinite possibilities that it can offer to us.

Now I realized I missed coming by your wonderful site.Thank you for sharing Robin!

Dear Argos, I am touched and honored by these words from your heart. They are both wise and honest. First, you have amazing eyes of your own that see the world around you in a most beautiful and very unique way. I know this from visiting your site. ---Also, yes, some people might need to at first jump into a slightly bigger bowl and then their next jump into an even bigger bowl, and each jump they move closer and closer to the big sea full of infinite possibilities. At the time that I jumped from my little fish bowl directly into the infinite sea, I was dying. Sometimes when we are close to death there is a lot of incentive to reach out for as much Life as possible. When one is close to death they often have nothing left to lose. I do not regret my grand leap of faith. I left death behind in the little fish bowl and became more Life than I ever imagined. Thank you my kind friend for sharing here and taking me back to a special time of my life. A time that made me who I am today.

Robin, sometimes human beings get wrapped up with naming things and describing phenomena that are not appropriately framed in human terms. As starflight comments, "life is a school." A person can shift vantage points, alter focus of perception, and choose to sense what did not appear there before. And yet, nothing has moved in ways humans typically understand. Rather perception can be consciously or unconsciously shifted. The energy vibrations you choose to register changes according to your free will. Whenever you open yourself, you realize you connect to everything, everywhere. It is not simply observation which allows you to witness and experience nature and events unfolding around you. Your soul is fundamentally part of it. This is the oneness that brings you back to reconnect with the core of your inner being. Its the truth.

Dear Liara, I resonate deeply with these lines of yours: "Whenever you open yourself, you realize you connect to everything, everywhere. It is not simply observation which allows you to witness and experience nature and events unfolding around you. Your soul is fundamentally part of it."

This is absolutely true. I guess I would say that we are not just part of it; we ARE it. And not simply at our core but in our entirety always and forever. And I speak only my truth here. (I try not to tell others definitive truth because I limit myself and them when I do, because I have experienced truth as limitless and forever evolving, as is all of existence.) But as I was going to say, my experience has been that when we merge with all existence around us we simple merge. There is no connecting back to anything. We BECOME everything. We are all capable of living in this way. We already are. ---As I've grown older, I have come to embrace that people "open" themselves in different ways. We all are possibly walking in the same direction but we may take different paths to our on going destination. I personally tend to live my life wide open. It was a conscious choice I made many many years ago, and one I made so deeply that at this point in my life it is simply who I am. It is no longer a choice I have to consciously make. I also tend to be a very visceral person or a touchy-feely person who approaches things from my heart, intuitively, effortlessly through all of my senses and full body/spirit/soul awareness, BUT that said, I have embraced that not everyone approaches their path the way I do. I have seen those we were very left brained and approached "opening" or oneness through math, reading, writing, science, etc. I once knew someone who was a brilliant mathematician. This person appeared to most people as very dry, technical, socially inept and unaware of the world around them, BUT in front of a chalkboard with a piece of chalk explaining Einstein's theories and in depth mathematical equations they transformed into a highly spiritual being, an exquisitely beautiful glowing being, one who touched the face of the Universe/their god through math.

You know, Robin, I rarely leave comments at this end of the queue! :) But I just can't resist dropping a line or two after such a post. This is particularly because I'm currently involved in a project/research on the subject of 'Immortality'. A lot of what you shared in this post resonates with my findings and thoughts...the fact that our 'material' world, actually comes from the 'non material.'
This is so deep that to really comment on it might take a longer space than your post!
Thanks for inspiring me with more energy to pursue my project. I'll send it to you, of course once I'm done.

It is always uplifting when the world assists us on our way. You have done the same for me many times. Your research sounds fascinating. I think it is a topic that will interest many. And I look forward to seeing what you discover, experience and share. I have always enjoyed your insights into universal truths.

Yes, the way you take photos always fascinated me! All your angles and curves you take to get the right one! That is something I'm working on now as well, that and also to see more of things, and not just to look.. I took some photos last weekend of some seeds and a tree stump, dunno if you saw them on my blog, but must say I had so much fun taking different photos of the same subject, over 300 photos :) crazy I know, but I had so much fun, and to get back to your previous blog, that was pure joy for me, I got lost in time, and if it didn't get dark, I would still be out there taking photos of those seeds!! :)

Robin replies
Dear HE who is not a SHE!! :) So exciting this comment. I am also floored by your appreciation of my photos and angles, etc. because you are a MASTER photographer. You not only "see" the world around you in amazing detail, but you take photos that tell a story. I like that. ---Then I chuckled over the 300 photos and didn't even flinch at the number! LOL! Becaaaaause, I take that many and more. And no it is not crazy at all. I agree, as you say, that it is another form of meditation. We see something that intrigues us and we become absorbed in "seeing" it from every angle and perspective and it's a bit like your mandalas. We lose ourselves so into the moment of the tiger or flower that all thoughts vanish as we become only the moment. It is a wonderful state of bliss and relaxation. I know exactly how you feel. I really enjoyed this comment "HE" LOL!!!

READERS: I highly recommend that you take a peek at Gene's photos. His recent wedding photos are unlike any I've seen. And keep scrolling down as there are the seed photos he mentions and so many other vibrant photos. http://e-photo.co.za/blog/

Robin, I love your kaleidoscope, as for the topic of quantum physics. "We know from our experiments that the most interesting places to search for “the truth” are not in the well-trodden paths, but rather in those places where our current understanding appears to be breaking down. These places are even more appropriate if we are looking for irregularities in the structure of our Universe, as regions where things seem to be going “wrong” could be indications of sloppy programming, or perhaps the computational limitations of the hardware creating our World". Do we live in a Matrix Universe?

Dear Walter, you amaze me. You are fountain of knowledge. I was just skimming the article you sent here and I am sure there are many Matrix fans who will relate to this article. It raises some interesting questions. This whole topic is so juicy because it hits into the vast "unknown", which I think fascinates most people in some way or another. I love the mystery of Life and hope that there are always mysteries; they make us dream and often rise to greatness within ourselves. We expand in the presence of "the great mystery", just as we do standing in a field at night looking at heaven full of stars. Thank you my friend.
