Robin Happy New Year Once again! And all i can really say is may the greatest light and love of consciousness and being continue to bless and fill your spirit!

And thank you for those wonderful and so beautifully composed wishes for us all - for all of humanity! May each one of us be moved to see them as more than words, but as the inner call of our souls to take life into our own hands and realize that we are indeed such powerful and magnificent creatures - let us thus walk the walk that you invite us to! It will be a ground breaking year indeed with the potentials of all of our actions.

Occasionally I will lose my way, wonder who I am and what I am doing. Occasionally it will make me feel worthless and invisible. Just today I started feeling that way, maybe its the winter blues and all the rain we have been having. Sometimes we need to be reminded with something as simple as running water on rock about how beautiful life is. Its amazing to me that just now I was feeling that way and for some reason clicked on the email link of your site my sister sent me during the holidays (she watched your memories of Christmas videos and thought you were funny). Thanks for being there when I clicked on that link.

Robin, this is wonderfully life-affirming. Your music put to simple words about living - this really did speak to me - way down in my soul. And I feel so alive, watching this, listening, and letting your words really enter into my heart. May your new year be filled with all the love and beauty that you emanate out to everyone you touch. Know that my life is better, my life is more "real", my life is more fulfilling - because I've had the wonderful opportunity to know you through your pages here...

Yum. The sound of running water. LOVE that.

<b>Do What You Think You Can't</b>

I would consider getting that tattooed on my body. Until then, I am going to make a sign and hang it where I can see it clearly every day.

I remember one of the first interviews Christopher Reeve did after a riding accident left him paralyzed from the neck down. I think it was Diane Sawyer who asked him, "Aren't you angry?"

His reply: <i>"What really makes me angry are all the able-bodied people who live paralyzed lives."</i>

Amen!

New Year Blessings to you, dear one.

<strong>Robin Replies</strong>
Oh "earthmother", this is so lovely. the tattoo idea made me laugh out loud and then I thought yeah, if I were a tattoo person I think that would be my tattoo as well! :) But like you I will put it on my wall for now. I loved this quote of Christopher Reeve's. I'd not heard that one, but have had similar thoughts about "able bodied people living paralyzed lives." So very powerful to remember the gifts that we have and can take for granted every day...our eyes and hands and legs and ears and so forth. Such seemingly simple things and yet HUGE beyond words if we lose the use of them. I am SO glad that you shared that here. Such a potent message. Thank you dear friend. (You must have been here while I was at your site :) :)

Good morning, my dear friend. It’s been a long time since I came over here. Ah, I so miss you.

There have been changes in my life the past few months, and I had to make some adjustments, that I had to forget about blogging for a while. But of course, I never forgot about your friendship, and the inspiring things I learned and keep learning from you.

I wish you a blessed New Year, my dear sister. I pray that as you continue with your journey, you keep finding life’s treasures — faith, love, nature, good conversations, and everything that is healthy to the soul — and that you’d have all the time to share them with us, because that is one gift that you have — the ability to share and to inspire.

Thank you for the gift of love and friendship. Thank you for the good conversations. Thank you for the inspiration and for your good examples. You are among the good things that happened to me in 2008.

Take care always, Sis!

<strong>Robin Replies:</strong>
Hey dear one! I hope that the changes you have been through ultimately lead to good things in your life, even if they were painful at the time. I am honored by your visit and thank you for all your loving insight over that last year. It has been pure joy to read your wise thoughts both here and on your blog. I am always touched by your compassion. You too have a great gift of inspiring others. Your writing is beautiful and straight from the heart, very pure and filled with fresh innocence which is so wonderful to see in today's world. And KNOW that you also are among the very good things that happened to me in 2008. You encourage me to foster my own sense of innocence and inner beauty. You remind me what is truly important in life. You really do. Know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. Always. :)

Hi Robin,
You really have a gift of bringing the spirit of every living thing to life, the rocks, the water flowing. The words and the sounds so moving I felt as if I was there. Happy New Year, I am so grateful to have come to know you in 2008 in a year that I lost so much, I also gave gained so much by finding friends like you.
Take Care,
Janet :)

<strong>Robin Replies:</strong>
Dear Janet, Thank you for all your kind words and encouragement. I too am grateful to know such a kind and sincere soul as yourself. I have enjoyed your heartfelt sharings. You are brave and shinning even in your loss. I admire you for that very very much. You have touched my heart many times. Thank you, Janet.

Hi Robin ~ I lived around water, from when I was born, until I left for college at 17yrs of age. Whenever I live in a stream or riverless area, I miss the sounds and the flow of water so much. When scientists investigate a planet for signs of life, they look for water.

your posts are a weekly treat :)

Hi dear henry, I didn't know that you grew up by the water, but England is much like Maine where I grew up, with streams, rivers, lakes abound....then the lovely coast you have there. It makes sense you would be such a water person. I too miss and just adore the sounds of water. Now here in the Southwest, USA if it rains I stop everything I'm doing just to listen to the sound of it. Sometimes I will just go out and stand in the rain; it feels so life-giving. It is. Thank you for all you kind words, wisdom and love. They mean much.
