Dear Teresa, Welcome. And thank you for this very wise comment. I have found as I get older that there is something about these loving, compassionate and wise souls that SHINES. By “shine” I don’t mean that they are flashy, vocal or demonstrative, rather (for me) they radiate a great warmth, a deep peace, they feel like an endless star-filled night sky or woodland air after heavy rain. There is something about them that just feels “right” inside my body, even without words. Thank you for your sharing here. It is much appreciated.

To tell you the truth, I know none, no one I can think off that shows love, don’t know if I don’t look hard enough, but I don’t think there are a lot of these kinds left on mother earth. But..

If I have to think of someone, i would say, like so many of your readers, that you are the perfect example! Your love for nature manifests on this blog. I have never (that i can think of) read anywhere on your blog about any complaints you have, or anything bad at all, all good and all your words filled with love!
you are the perfect example, and might very well be the last of your kind left on this earth!

My dear amazing “HE”, I hardly know where to start. I sit with tears in my eyes and am touched by so many things in this heartfelt comment. First I have known you to be nothing but deeply sincere, kind, forgiving and honest, qualities that are commendable and healing for others to be around. I have often found that if I take the initiative around others and reach out and model love, that something in them awakens and they begin to follow suit. They begin to awaken and start to realize that someone cares, that love exists, that there is hope and goodness in the world. They will become what we too seek. They become who they REALLY are. I find kindness and love the easiest things to share, but often people have forgotten how to love or even about love. By modeling what we want from others, others often become what we also need. And we also become more of we really are. Maybe you are meant to be a leader or initiator of love. I do know that you see the world through very special eyes and have much to offer others.

Also, there really aren’t words to express how touched I am by your kind and generous words. They made me take another serious look at myself and also invited me to claim who I am and want to be in the world. You made me realize once again how everything we do ripples out and effects the world around us (even when we don’t necessarily know it or see it). You have given me a huge gift and much to think about. Things that will help me grow and become more loving and aware. Thank you, He, so very much.

Dear Lisleman, I was just at your site and come her and find you have visited me. By the way I really enjoyed your post on “The Mystery”. —-I like your new phrase about being on top of the world. Yes, if we spin the globe the right way. Very nice. —And a resounding YES! to wonder and mystery, two of my favorite feelings/experiences as a human being. I adore both wonder and mystery and live a life that keeps me in touch with both every single day. They are what keep my young and hungry for life, learning and awareness. Your article is a timely one. Many people are seeking a way back to a more simple life, one with out the dash and flash.

I felt this line in my gut when I read this, an immediate “feeling” response. It made me feel loved, infinite, eternal and profoundly safe. What makes you such an extraordinary wordsmith is that you so often “emote” your insights right from your heart into the hearts of your readers. I have felt this on many occasions while reading your insights. It is simple and uncomplicated and doesn’t force me into my brain to understand and then translate what you are saying into “feelings”. Phew! That can be exhausting. You simply speak your heart in a way that allows me to stay in my heart and “feel” in my soul what you are sharing. Such a beautiful gift. As you say, “Ahhh! Peace.” Yes, very much so.

PS: I also am finding that people are seeking a more simple direct way, a more heartfelt way, one in keeping with the simple flow and truth of Life, the Universe. I am finding this more and more every single day.

I think there are people around everywhere who are so connected to themselves and to everything and everyone else, that they just exude this in their every day existence. Just to see them is enough. To be around them everyday would be a blessing.

I believe that everyone on earth has this energy – some less obvious than others. But everyone has the capability of this, and unfortunately this spirit/wisdom/love gets flattened by modern society and fast-paced living.

Dear Ophelia, You are indeed a sensitive and aware soul. You move through the world aware of it all. And even though also are aware of the suffering and things that need changing you are ALWAYS aware of the beauty. I love that about you. Yes, there are so many beautiful souls who are connected to themselves and the world. I am always amazed at the beauty I see in people. You are right in that when we just see these souls or to connect of a single moment or an hour they are unforgettable. It is a blessing. To have them in our lives everyday is astounding. I also believe that it is who we all ARE. When we truly see ourselves we can be nothing but awed by the magnificent beauty of who we are, and what we are part of…the Great Mystery. I believe that is what we are here to see, awaken to. Once we see it in ourselves we see it in everything and everyone. p.s. On a brighter note, my dear Tommy is back after six months away and I hope to dedicate more time to personal projects… I need a change SOON.

Kindness shines from you into all those around you. Sometimes it can be hard when we can’t help another. sometimes we just have to let go. Make sure you are taking care of YOU. You deserve to look after yourself and live YOUR life in the way that you need to so that you feel happy, full of Life and at peace. If we don’t give this to ourselves it is almost impossible to give it to another person. Sometimes it is easier for us to give to others than to give to ourselves. What a beautiful write-up! Indeed in life the wisest souls are usually the quietest, the humblest, etc. Your words as always are so full of love and wisdom. So do I know anybody like that….
