Naked in Eden – Now Available

Whooo hooo!! “Naked in Eden” is born today! LOL! ![]()
Enjoy the video and thank you my dear friends. I love you, Robin.
Dear Friends, Today is such an huge day for me. After all these years of hard work, set backs and challenges, my book, Naked in Eden: My Adventure and Awakening in the Australian Rainforest is launching today!! Yippee!! It is on Amazon.com HERE, and is available wherever books are sold!
I hardly slept last night because I could barely grasp that a dream I have worked toward for 13 years has come to fruition. The only reason this book exists today is because I never stopped taking steps toward my dream. I became the journey, and as a result, the journey became me. My husband and I often compared this journey to “Walking to Alaska”. You can view that video and article by clicking >> Become the Journey. Now that I’m a full time writer, and have a much stronger sense of how I want to tell my story, you won’t have to wait 13 years for the second book.
I am already working on the sequel to “Naked in Eden”.
I could never take full credit for this book. My precious husband helped me edit and reedit. He is a constant inspiration to me, filled with humor, deep kindness, and love. I also could not have made it without my literary agent and dear friend, Barbara Neighbors Deal. She has inspired me, and taught me about the literary world, more importantly, about Life. I also want to thank HCI Books for believing in me and “Naked in Eden”. They are a wonderful publisher with great attention to detail and excellence. I couldn’t have partnered with a better crew of people (I thank you all).
I also could not have made it without all my friends and family! You have kept me going with your belief in me, your inspiring comments, emails, and love. I am deeply grateful and blessed to have such loving souls in my life. You have become part of the fabric of who I am. And now I humbly share this wild raw story of my life in the rainforest, a story in which my soul is laid bare. This unforgettable time forged my character. As my friend Bernie says, “You became the rainforest.”
You can visit Jonathan Wells’ blog where he has posted an interview of me on his site “Advanced Life Skills”. What an amazing man! A talk with Jonathan is like getting hit by a blast of clean crisp mountain air. Invigorating and full of Life. Take some time to get to know him and his blog; is well worth it. You can also read a review of “Naked in Eden” at San Francisco Book Reviews (click title). I’m also honored to have “Naked in Eden” reviewed by Mike King at Learn This (click title). Mike is deeply earnest and caring, and quite an adventurer himself. He rides uni-cycles up mountains. Check out his blog and the photos on his Facebook page. Mike loves Life.
My friends, if you enjoy my wild rainforest experience leave me a review at Amazon.com I’d love it if you help spread the word on your blogs, social networks and newsletters. If you need more info go to my Media Room where you can down load PDF files and photos, or drop me a shout. Thank you!
Love,
Robin

Hi Robin.
Congratulations! Your book is available here in the UK again via Amazon (though not available yet over the pond).
I am intrigued by the snake story and cringing at thought of the beast catching me unawares in the same way. As you may know, such creatures make me quake with fear.
URRGGHHH!!!!
How brave you are. Had it been me, I would have ran screaming from the rainforest like a mad banshee; any observers would have followed the sound of my cries thinking that a new species had been discovered.
Anyway – I look forward to reading your book when I can get my hands on it.
Congratulations again.

I actually thought of you when I was editing a part in the book before it went to press. It was the part about the poisonous jellyfish. I kid you not, I told my husband how you made me laugh over your writing about them. And I thought wait till he reads this book he will be in PM Heaven!!!! LOLOLOL!!! Thank you my friend. Dear John, I am so touched that you shared with me that you have this dream as well. I find that very heartening, In fact THRILLING, because you have great depth in you and write so honestly in everything you do. I feel that you have something amazing to offer the world. I think right now the more who contribute to the shift or awakening that is happening the better. In fact it is needed. I am so moved at the thought of you reading about this part of my life. I know we read each others blogs, but I really got to be more intimate in this book, more ME. There was space and time to literally go back into the forest and be with it again and write from that place, even though I was here in the USA in my living room. I give thanks for your presence in my life. Love to you, John. robin

Beautiful and Wonderful Robin…… My Light Footed Friend of the Natural Realm:
We each are players on the global stage of Life where we tell stories to explore and sort out our feelings. It is through these intimate connections that we learn to let go and grow, so we can move Up in the World and begin to sense on the level of our personal, local, global, and cosmic environments. By feeling our pain and by embracing our fears, we are transported into a lighter way of Being that alters the landscapes of the earth. The gravity of any situation is then alleviated and one learns to float upon the waves of freedom that expands our scenery to potentially encompass unlimited points of views. We then become what we see and then truly rediscover Love.
And your glowing book, my dear friend ~ Robin, will excite those people who crave for this embracing of Love, so they too can experience their own personal reflections. You show that it is possible to merge and become Love its-self, by becoming as naked and raw as our Nature ~ within this Universe that is our collective Eden.
We each are in the process of writing a book….and it is the exquisite stories of our lives. May we all find Inspiration through your Adventures to Author our own epic Journey to include into the pages of the Collective Book of Life.
I look forward in witnessing your ongoing dream to bring back that spark of Beauty to the eyes of those who are just beginning their journeys back to Paradise.

Dear Bernie, I just wrote you a long comment and went to submit it, and it vaporized, AND this happened twice. AND only with YOUR comment! LOL! The even funnier part is that in both my comments to you I said that what you expressed here is so powerful and has layers and layers of insight. You are quite an experience. I said that your comment was SO complete of an experience that there was nothing I could say. It was like you took me from beginning to end, and I felt total and utter peace. I had absolutely no words left in me. THAT is a beautiful thing. THAT is what Nature does to me, THAT is what Love does to me. That is what living so fully-present does to me.
So each time my comment vanished I chuckled. It was as if the Great Universe was saying, “No, don’t touch this, it is already full.” —Much love, Robin

Dear Robin, it’s as if your wish for Nothing to Say came true as seen in its’ instantaneous manifestation. It goes to show that our wishes do come true. With a clear mind and open heart, anything becomes possible where all dreams and intentions are granted simply by knowing that they will flower and emerge into the landscape of Life. We create the world we live in with the energy we direct into this epic play and saga, where we each paradoxically live at the exact center stage of the universe.

Dearest Stacey, I am soooo moved by you. You are just FILLED with Grace. I love how you say: “You speak the universal language of love, and it touches peoples souls.” That is soooo amazing. Do you know, when I first took this book to the guy, Russ Hume, who wrote the poems at the end of each chapter, and he read it. When I returned to see him a few weeks later, he tapped the manuscript lying on his kitchen table and said, “Easton,
do you know what this book is about?” I said, “My life in the rainforest.” He shook his head, chuckled and said, “No, this book is about Love.” I was stunned, because all I had done was pour out what passed through my being as I wrote. And later as I thought about what he said, I realized that when I wrote this book, I would sit at my desk writing, and I would cry and cry and cry…because there was SOOOOO much love passing through me that I thought I would burst and turn into star dust, turn into a millions spinning particles of bursting light. When I wrote this I was in a constant state of ecstasy. And because you see this about my story, you once again bring tears to my eyes. Thank you dear friend. We are so connected.
You wrote: “As each person reads your story they will see reflections of themselves and the lessons and messages meant for just them.” I just LOVE this because I am already seeing this from the people who have read it. And I find it amazing and fascinating. How wise and “seeing” you are. Much love to you dear friend. Robin

So you make my day, telling me this. I think, dear Jenn, that you will relate to the “feel” of this book, maybe the experiences may be different, but it is the “feel” of it that will touch who you already are. I thank you from my heart for all you have given and done. I know the cost. It is a gift that moves me to tears. You are eloquent and yes, must write. And you need that peace to do so, because that peace IS you. I so understand your path right now. It feels very right. It is why, with time, I willingly embraced the forest and being so far from “everything”. I got to sink in deep and feel and not think or do, just let go and be. I could not help but well up with tears and radiant emotion watching you in that video. Wanting to one day publish a book of some of my personal insights and stories, I feel your joy Robin, and I feel that sense of watching your dream manifest, and live it in its fullest form today.
This is a marvellous day indeed and I cannot tell you how happy I am for you!!!!
And today, as your book launched I was with you in energy, as I lay out on a hammock under rustling birch trees, sun overhead amidst our Dear Mother Nature reading your book. And I read past the second story you shared in your video… and I loved that part so much…. I reflected deeply, on so much in your book, and cannot wait to express it all in a review I have set for the 4th.
I am truly speechless at who you are – reading your words, watching you now in the video, my heart just kept screaming out “I love her!” – I really do love you so much Robin for who you are, what you bring to this world, and for reminding me as well to heal in the arms of nature to fully awaken to my highest potential of being.

Dearest Evita, I am sitting here with tears on my face. You have given me a great gift. One that I will always treasure. It means far more than you know. You’ve given me Love. In doing so you soothe, heal, transform me, yourself, and the world, Even the Stars shine brighter. dear one. We are connected through Love.
And I have always seen you writing your own book. I’ve no doubt it will happen. I’ve seen this in you for some time. I think for people of “heart” these things happen in their own time. In essence we don’t write the book. The book writes us. Life moves us to “speak”. It passes through us to tell ITS story. The Great Story of Life, which we are all part of. Maybe if I was writing a factual book it might be different, but then I would not be good at writing a factual book.
I cherish the tears you’ve given me. I am deeply moved that you are reading my book under the trees of Mother Earth. I can hardly wait to hear your insights. I am so grateful for them and you. Each time you talk of your woodland place there, I feel you more attached to it. It is already claiming you, healing you and seeping into your beautiful soul. Nature just does that. I love you, Robin

I do feel like it was just yesterday, and little did I fully know I would be writing a book. At some point in the forest I least knew that my experiences were remarkable. Once I opened to the forest I knew that my time there was a gift. And that it was an experience so contrary to anything I’ve ever known, even contrary to anything anyone I’d ever know had known.
And so I began to embrace as much of it as I could. Thank you dear heart for your love and encouragement all this time. You have made a huge difference. Much love, Robin

I cried my way through that video, because of who you are, and the emotion and genuineness that came through while you were talking. It gave me even deeper insight into you. Your words and other videos have always touched me, but there was something about this one that showed even more of who you are. Their are so many aspects to you that are gifts to the world, your wisdom and insight into life, your life experiences (which have been willing to share with us), your warmth, your incredible honesty, and THEN to top it off is your complete genuineness. What you see is what you get. It’s almost as if you never learned to veil yourself. You have a rawness that is contagious or captivating. It is one of your strengths. Dear Sweet Hilary, You are so kind and generous of spirit. Thank you for your encouraging words here, and for seeing my “hubby” as well. You are so right, he is a wonder, and I could not have done this without him. I mean that literally. And yes, in retrospect the setbacks and challenges were minor in the big scheme of things. I think you raise a vital point here. Because at the time, those setbacks can “seem” so HUGE, as if they are everything. They can seem so big that they have the potential to overshadow our dream, and we can lose sight. So it is good to remember that setbacks only FEEL this way, but that the dream is still there, waiting for us to pick it up and carry on. Dreams never die. We just sometimes turn away from them. I appreciate your wise insight. It is one I will remember and make my own. Thank you my kind friend. I appreciate who you are and what you give the world. It is far more than you may think. Much love to dear Hilary. Robin

A few months ago I went to Books-A-Million and asked if they had your book on the shelf. They said “It will be here in September.” They looked at me a little strange. Maybe because I knew it was coming eventually. I will be going to buy this real soon. I am so happy for you. I recall how happy my gram was when her book was published, I can only imagine you must be feeling the same way. Hugs to you and congrats.

Dear dear Shirley, What a JOY to see you here.
I am so touched that you went to get it a month ago and that you probably shocked the book store people because it wasn’t even in the bookstores then. I love it. They probably thought you had “insider” information. Well, you DID!!! LOL!! —Also I love what you wrote about your Gram. I knew she wrote that BEAUTIFUL poetry, but I did not know it was published. That is incredible. She was such an amazing woman. In so many ways, ahead of her time. Thank you SO much for your encouragement. It’s been a long road. There have so many times that you kept me going, laughing and inspired, even when you didn’t know it. HUGE hugs and love to you and your family, Shirley. Robin

Dear Mike, It is an honor to share with you. You inspire me to be my best and to always make my journey an adventure, whether that is trekking up a mountain or trekking into my soul. I was thrilled to see your review of “Naked in Eden”. It was honest and filled with a lot of deep thought. You generous words here encourage me to keep writing, and not only keep writing, but writing from my heart. It really is the only way I know how to write. And to have that valued in the world is a new and wonderful experience for me. To meet kindred souls who also live from their heart is thrilling, life giving and healing. So thank you dear friend. Hugs, Robin.

Dearest Nadia, I know you know the work and thrill of following a dream. You have just much time doing exactly that, and the results are stunning. These words of yours brought instant tears to my eyes: “…you did it your way which was full of love and authenticity!” Thank you for that. Just thank you. The older I get I realize it is the only way for me to do things. Without love and authenticity, Life as no meaning for me. Also thank you for helping to shed light on my new path, I find that very encouraging, because it is still an unknown path I walk. But then I’ve always walked an unknown path. All love to you dearest Nadia. Robin

Dear profound Marty, Thank you so much for all you have given me over all these months. You are so wise and so humble about it. It is a joy to call you “friend”. And I’m very moved by your words here. Just think dear Marty, that if you wrote this my book “Naked in Eden”, you would be a master at saying—what took me almost 300 pages to say—in one sentence. You would say one line and tell my whole story.
I’d be curious to see what that one line might be. Thank you for teaching me, sharing with me and just “Being”. Much love to you and those you love, Marty. Robin

Dear Martyna, How wonderful to see you here!!
Just made me SMILE! What is so funny is that I too was laughing much harder in parts of this video, but I had to edit it down as it was way too long. But at one point I got laughing so hard I couldn’t talk. So I LOVE that you still picked up on the humor aspect. I think you are right about books for children. My husband and I have several stories we would like to turn into books, and more importantly I think you hit on something VERY wise. We need to present these stories, these realities to kids, while they are young and forming their ideas and concepts and possibilities of the world, when they are more open. I think given the opportunity, kids are naturally drawn to Nature. They LOVE being out in Nature if given the change. They love to explore, touch, feel, smell, taste, all of it. You are beautiful to see this and share it. I am grateful that you stopped in. It means much. Thank you dear heart. Love, Robin

So your words strengthen me and I treasure them, because I see YOU as a very very brave woman. You have great inner strength and a strong will to hang to and embrace Life. Thank you for sharing here, as well as for spreading the world. I hope you enjoy this book about an unforgettable time of my life. Much love to you, Robin

Dear Robin,
Cheers to you!! I celebrate this awesome accomplishnent with you and yours.
As I was watching the video, because of the angle of the screen and the lighting in the room, I suddenly noticed I was watching my own smiling eyes, superimposed over yours…I could literally see you bringing me happiness, my face was all lit up.
You have a gift of communication, in person and in the written word. You become one with the audience, as you became one with the rainforest. It’s all about love!
I just finished reading Only Love is Real, by Brian Weiss. How fitting that your book will be my next!
Love and a huge congratulatory hug from Lisa

Dear Lisa, What a BEAUTIFUL comment! What a touching story of your joy superimposed over mine. That really is so endearing. There is a strong sense of childlike wonder and innocence about that, AND your ability to appreciate it. I just felt such spontaneous happiness reading your words. It gave me very precious insight into you and your willingness to embrace joy and laughter and love. Your generous words are not only moving, but insightful. It really is all about Love, isn’t it?!! Little else matters. I think I might have “Only Love is Real”, I’ll have to haul it out. I am honored you are going to read my book. Dear Lisa Marie, you have added such beauty, and full-on love and wisdom here. You really do just FULLY shine! I am so glad that your life touches mine. So much love to you, and thank you for the huge hug. Robin

Dearest Robin, the book went beyond all my expectations, I can tell you that.
I was there with you in the rainforest, Naked in Eden is not just a book, it is an experience.
The biggest gift you have given me with your generous writing and sharing is MY LIFE.
You have given me back my LIFE, a vision of how life IS, who I AM and what the earth is to ME and to all of humanity.
Oh Robin, I can hardly contain my excitement about what your book reveals, about what is possible when we finally see, hear and love, when we finally connect instead of having this shield to protect us from our current toxic living environment.
Oh dearest Robin, how can I thank you for showing me what there is to see for me too, all I can say to express my thanks is that I will do my darnedest to follow you in your footsteps, my beautiful friend. Much love and gratitude, Wilma

Oh dearest Wilma, You cannot imagine what your words mean to me. I have been connected with you right from the start. I am soooooo moved that you understood this time of my life and who are ARE, you, me, and all of us. Dear Wilma, you also have given ME my life. You have done this by “seeing” me. You have done this by sharing your own hunger for truth and Life. You have done this by your willingness to look “beyond” societies often ridged and confining social conditioning. You have done this with your ASTOUNDING willingness to take BIG emotional risks, your willingness to embrace Life, your willingness to share you life events. You have not JUST talked concepts and ways and hows, etc. What you offered on your site and still offer all who come in contact with you, is a “living”exploration by honestly sharing you feelings, the events of your life, your concerns and even your supposed mistakes. You have let yourself be human, exposed and vulnerable. You are a role model for me. You are a leader for those of us who are wiling to take risks, willing to speak from the heart and not just the brain. And dear Wilma, you have already thanked me and given me more than I could ever have imagined. It’s just who you ARE. Now, I thank you. You are always with me. Just as I am with you. Always. I love you and think of you so often. Robin

Robin — This is wonderful news:~) Congratulations. I will be ordering the book. You should be very proud of this accomplishment. It takes sweat and tears to write a book, but it takes belief in yourself and trust to get it to the next step — being published. So, good for you and I’m looking forward to reading about your life adventure. May you keep discovering more adventures to write about:~)

Dear Sara, I am touched to see you here. You are a kind soul. I’ve loved seeing your and your insightful comments on various blogs. I am very honored by your words. Also, I am delighted by your insight into the work it takes. I read that and thought, “Wow! She really knows.” You are soooo right. It has been a lot of work, as well as a lot life changes in terms of personal growth. Something I realized when I KNEW the book was going to be published is that I don’t think we fear failure, so much as we fear success!! LOL!
Where this journey takes me it all growth, and all good. I also learn once again that it takes courage to follow our hearts and dreams. So I am grateful for you kindness and encouragement. Hugs, Robin
