Once We’re On the Other Side

Posted by Robin Easton

My husband came to me yesterday morning, and said that he’d been doing a lot of thinking. We had been planning a rafting trip to a lake nearby, and he seemed tentative about going when I asked him about it.
“Robin, I’m afraid of water.”
This surprised me, since he often talked about swimming in the Adirondack Mountain lakes and ponds. He said that he wasn’t afraid of water he’d grown up near, but of water that he hadn’t seen before. [...] Continue Reading…

Life: Firsthand

Ponder This
“Know this: fear is profitable.
Belief is subjective.
Lemme say that again: Belief is subjective.
YOU create how this world is…for you.
“Question what you believe. Why you believe it. It’s origins. Is it your own experience? Or are you repeating what others have told you? What you have read?
“Thought is what separates us. That is all.
“If you were to put down ALL ‘knowledge’ or ‘fact’ or ‘reality’ that others have passed to you, and others have passed to them—for generations before [...] Continue Reading…

This presentation is a two part video sequence titled, “Celebrating the Circle of Love”. I delivered it at The Celebration, an independent spiritual community located in Santa Fe, New Mexico. In these often difficult global times I feel called to love into the places filled with fear, suffering and anger. Love, Robin

The True Promise of Aging

Posted by Robin Easton

Today I share an interview with Christopher Foster, a remarkable man. He has lived an adventurous and soulful life. His adventures took him across the globe and into the depths of his soul. At age 77, when many people are winding down their lives, Chris started blogging. Almost overnight people flocked to his blog. What is it about Christopher that draws people? I believe it is a lifetime of listening to and following his heart. His wisdom is a [...] Continue Reading…

Our Inherent Wisdom

Nature Always Speaks Truth
A couple of winters ago, someone posted a video on their blog and recommended it to their readers. The video featured an acclaimed healer who was talking to a large audience, sharing her beliefs. Since I’d heard a lot about this healer, but had never heard them speak, I was a bit curious. As I listened, two things struck me. The healer talked “at” the audience rather than with the audience. More importantly, they repeatedly shared [...] Continue Reading…

Lucid Living

Dreaming Our World
Many months ago I read an article about lucid dreaming* (see definition below).  The author listed techniques a dreamer should use to activate lucid dreaming. As I read I thought, “Hmm, I did none of these things and yet I am an avid lucid dreamer. So what triggered my lucid dreaming?”

I thought back to my life in the rainforests of Australia where my lucid dreams took on astounding dimensions. I was able to “rerun” my dreams in [...] Continue Reading…

Calling Us Home
One of the most enjoyable films I ever saw was E.T. Extra Terrestrial. I saw it several years ago, and I remember that in some ways I felt like E.T. when I left the Australian rainforest and returned to society. I wanted to go home to the wild. Just like in the movie when ET stood looking out a window toward distant stars, I too often stood looking out a widow, and in my heart I heard [...] Continue Reading…
